The ISL GLOBE Extra Mile challenge is an initiative centred on raising vital funds for local and international educational programmes in Lebanon and here in the UK, supporting students who are affected by the 'Digital Divide'. Importantly, it provides an opportunity for our students (and families) to become more actively involved in Service as Action through a collaborative physical activity.

Collectively, we will log miles to travel from ISL London to Beirut, Lebanon and then on to our sister school, ISL Qatar in Doha, before returning to our neighbour, Gunnersbury Park. The mode of transport used to travel must be powered by your body, so walking, running, cycling, swimming, skateboarding, surfing….. it all counts towards our miles!

Our mission is to complete our 13,322 km round trip from Friday April 30th (event launch) to Monday May 31st.

The event will be collectively sponsored, with everyone seeking their own sponsorship from friends, family and anyone who would like to help raise funds for this meaningful initiative. Total mileage and funds raised will be tracked via this very ISL GLOBE website, which will also be stocked with fabulous ISL GLOBE merchandise, (which are already available in our e-Market page). We look forward to 'seeing' you in action!
